100 locations in France – a significant milestone
With the opening of our 100th station in the country, France represents the second largest market for IONITY across the continent with more than 400 charging points available along the main motorways.
The hundredth station is located at the north of Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, on the site of the Novotel Roissy Saint-Witz, near the A1 motorway. The location of the high-power charging station appears to be particularly strategic to meet the growing demand from electric vehicle drivers who are increasingly present in the vicinity of the Paris airport and this busy motorway route linking Paris to Lille.
The new station can accommodate up to seven electric vehicles simultaneously. Of these seven charging points, six are dedicated to "high-power" charging, offering ultra-fast charging capacity for compatible vehicles, up to 350 kW. The seventh charge point is universal, with a tri-standard socket of up to 50 kW, allowing any electric vehicle to benefit from charging.
In addition, we have already pre-equipped the station for installing an additional 12 charging points to meet the future demand of EV drivers.
Densifying the network by moving closer to major cities
These hundredth stations are an important milestone for IONITY as it strengthens our leading position in the high-power charging market.
