IT Systems Engineer (f/m/x)

Your mission
- Built, secure and maintain AWS Cloud Infrastructure according to IT architecture
- Develop and maintain deployment pipelines
- Supporting software developers with regard to development platform and access
- Manage and actively support all aspects of 2nd level IT operations to guarantee availability and performance of systems
- Carrying out regular software deployments and releases
- Create, operate and continuously improve a cloud infrastructure & application operations monitoring system
- Analyze occurring failures in depth and solve them as well as being the interface to 3rd Level in DevOps teams
- Emergency standby for 24/7 engineering support based on on-call schedule (optional)
- Prepare reports and ensure optimal performance and maintain records of service level achievement and KPI’s.
- Create and maintain documentation
- Act proactively by self-initiated projects and ensure efficiency
Your profile
- Several years (3-5+) of professional experience in the above-mentioned area or in a comparable environment
- Experience with AWS cloud platform
- Knowledge in TERRAFORM/Infrastructure as Code
- Knowledge in backup strategies
- Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring
- Experience with monitoring-based alerting and reporting
- Confident handling of incidents and problems
- Experience with agile frameworks and tools (SCRUM, SAFEe, JIRA)
- Experience in working in DevOps environments
- Knowledge of managing databases, messaging queues (e.g. KAFKA/RabbitMQ) interfaces (e.g. REST, SOAP) and cloud based applications
- ITIL certification is an advantage
- High level of commitment and reliability
- Excellent technical skills and ability to work in teams
- Very good English language skills
- Hand’s on mentality, interest in energy, e-mobility, Start-Up environment
- Mainly remote work. Participate on collaboration / Office days (Munich or Dortmund office)
