Your mission
At IONITY, we’re building and operating our own cutting-edge e-Mobility backend system. As an IT Product Owner, you’ll take responsibility for a defined functional domain within this platform. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and Product Owners from other domains, you’ll help shape the product roadmap and turn vision into reality.
- Own the product lifecycle of specific backend domains and lead their continuous evolution
- Translate product features into actionable, well-defined user stories ready for agile development
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely and valuable delivery
- Define sprint goals, write clear acceptance criteria and test cases
- Collaborate with other Product Owners to ensure alignment across domains and seamless system integration
- Lead and actively participate in all agile ceremonies (e.g., planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Monitor sprint progress, resolve blockers, and support incident handling during releases
- Gather and refine requirements from internal stakeholders, balancing technical and business needs
- Coordinate development activities with external partners and service providers when required
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- 1–3 years of professional experience as an IT Product Owner or IT Project Manager
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with hybrid approaches (Agile/Waterfall)
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams with empathy and clarity
- Curious and self-driven personality with a willingness to quickly learn new topics
- Strong analytical skills combined with a creative, solution-oriented mindset
- Genuine passion for e-Mobility and the future of sustainable transportation
