    Your mission

    In this function you will be part of our IT Operations Team in a fast growing and dynamic international Start-Up environment. As IT Ops expert, you will be an important player in our growing DevOps culture. With your skills and focus, you will ensure the operation of reliant, performant and secure platforms and applications in our IT infrastructure.

    Your role in specific:
       

    • Manage and actively support all aspects of 2nd level IT operations to guarantee availability of systems & keep services running
    • Secure AWS Infrastructure  
    • Create, operate and continuously improve a cloud infrastructure & application operations monitoring system  
    • Secure 2nd Level support via ticketing system for IT infrastructure, interfaces and applications    
    • Analyze occurring failures in depth and solve them as well as being the interface to 3rd Level in DevOps teams  
    • Coordinate 1st level support and optimize support procedure & processes    
    • Emergency standby for 24/7 engineering support based on on-call schedule    
    • Prepare reports and ensure optimal performance and maintain records of service level agreements     
    • Create and maintain documentation    
    • Administer and provide upgrade to systems and escalate issues    
    • Prepare and review all Service Level Agreements for service delivery  
    • Act proactively by self-initiated projects and ensure efficiency

    Your profile

    • Several years (3+) of professional experience in the above-mentioned area or in a comparable environment
    • Experience with AWS cloud platform    
    • Knowledge in TERRAFORM/Infrastructure as Code is helpful  
    • Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring  
    • Experience with monitoring-based alerting and reporting  
    • Experience with agile frameworks and tools (SCRUM, JIRA)    
    • Knowledge of managing databases (e.g. KAFKA), interfaces (e.g. REST, SOAP) and cloud based applications  
    • High level of commitment and reliability    
    • Excellent  technical skills and ability to work in teams    
    • Very good English and German language skills, other EU languages are welcomed  
    • Hand’s on mentality, interest in energy, e-mobility, Start-Up environment    
    • Location in Germany / South Germany to participate on collaboration / Office days (Munich office)
